New release 2011-02!

The DoudouLinux team is proud to announce the availability of the new DoudouLinux release. CD iso files and USB-key image files are available for download. This new release brings the following new features:

• the team now officially supports 13 languages: Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, English, French, Italian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Spanish, Swedish and Ukrainian
• we also provide 6 “demonstration” languages: German, Greek, Indonesian, Portuguese, Turkish and Vietnamese
• DoudouLinux now has an additional activity to tune the system according to your needs. A new dedicated tool allows changing the default menu of activities.
• you can switch to an Azerty, a Qwerty or a Qwertz keyboard layout by pressing simultaneously the keys Alt and Shift
• plus lots of improvements and fixes (see the Release notes)

As you can see, DoudouLinux is growing and growing and we keep doing our best to make our work be the easiest and most appropriate computer system for children, as young as 2 years old!

Of course, if you think that your language is missing or not being translated quickly enough, you can come and help us! You can also help us with technical tasks (programming or system administration), on artistic tasks (drawing, sound creation or music composing) and on communication tasks (writing documentation, advertising or animation of communities).
